ACEN Corp. has secured a P34.4-billion green loan from a consortium of local banks, including BPI, BDO, and RCBC, to partially finance its 344.5-megawatt-peak (MWp) Quezon North Onshore Wind Power Project.

Giga Ace 6 Inc. (GA6) is the special purpose vehicle for the P70-billion Quezon North Onshore Wind Power Project, located across Mauban and Real in Quezon and Paete and Kalayaan in Laguna.

Phase 1 of the wind facility is slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026, and Phase 2, a 208-MW plant, is expected by the fourth quarter of 2027.

Upon full completion, the project is estimated to generate about 1,730 gigawatt-hours of clean power annually.

ACEN and its unit ACEN Global Development Group, Inc. will guarantee the loan, with ACEN Corp. and ACEN Global Development Group acting as sponsors, share security grantors, and guarantors for the project.
