Remulla proclaimed Cavite governor

Board member Francisco Gabriel "Abeng" Remulla has been proclaimed the new governor of Cavite after winning the gubernatorial race.

He secured 1,058,412 votes according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) City Provincial Board of Canvassers.

Ram Revilla Bautista has also been proclaimed as vice governor of Cavite, running unopposed and earning 1,178,445 votes.

Remulla is the son of Justice Secretary Jesus Crisipin Remulla and nephew of Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla.

His relatives, Jolo Revilla and Lani Mercado, were also re-elected as representatives for Cavite's First and Second Districts, respectively.
