More than 75 percent of the 219,000 personnel in the Philippine National Police (PNP) have signified interest in getting vaccinated against COVID-19, according to PNP chief Gen. Debold Sinas.

This figure represents an increase from previous surveys, with the PNP aiming to reach 80 to 90 percent willingness.

The PNP has completed the first round of vaccination for its medical frontliners, using 1,196 of the 1,200 Sinovac doses allocated to them.

Four of the Sinovac doses were spoiled.

The PNP is awaiting further instructions regarding the next batch of vaccines, including potential allocation of AstraZeneca doses.
