Tarlac has highest COVID-19 positivity rate in PH
According to Octa Research, seven provinces in the Philippines have seen an increase in their COVID-19 positivity rates.
These provinces include Cagayan, Iloilo, Isabela, La Union, Misamis Oriental, Pangasinan, and Tarlac.
Tarlac recorded the highest jump in its positivity rate, increasing from 41.6% to 50.6% as of October 22.
Camarines Sur followed with the second-highest positivity rate at 35.7%, and Rizal province was third with 21.1%.
In contrast, Metro Manila and the Calabarzon provinces experienced a decrease in their COVID-19 positivity rates, with Metro Manila's rate dropping from 14.9% to 12.3%.
Department of Health data indicated that Tarlac had 24 new COVID-19 cases on October 24 and currently has 422 active cases.
