A total of 665 Filipinos repatriated from Barbados and the United Arab Emirates arrived at Clark International Airport in Pampanga on Tuesday.

The first batch comprised 347 seafarers from Barbados who worked on Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. ships, arriving via Philippine Airlines Flight PR8117.

The second batch consisted of 318 stranded Filipinos from the UAE, who arrived via Emirates Flight EK2572.

All repatriates underwent thermal scanning and mandatory RT-PCR testing for COVID-19 upon arrival.

They were transported to designated quarantine facilities while awaiting their test results.

The DFA reported that 1,696 Filipinos were repatriated on Tuesday, with 665 arriving in Clark and 1,031 in Manila.

The total number of repatriates has reached 45,865 since February.
