6 PAF personnel bodies recovered from helicopter crash site

Six bodies of Philippine Air Force (PAF) personnel have been recovered following a Super Huey helicopter crash in Agusan del Sur.

The helicopter was conducting a relief mission in areas affected by Typhoon Tino when it crashed near the 60th Infantry Battalion base.

All six recovered remains have arrived at the Tactical Operations Group 11 (TOG11) and will undergo autopsy and forensic examination.

One of the six personnel will be flown to Zamboanga City for an Islamic burial after identification, in observance of their religious belief.

The two pilots and four crew members, all belonging to the 505th Search and Rescue Group, perished in the incident.
