48 OFWs undergoing self-quarantine in Bohol —Gov. Yap
A total of 48 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have returned to Bohol and are currently isolated in quarantine facilities.
Governor Arthur Yap confirmed that two OFWs initially tested positive for COVID-19 through PCR tests, but later tested negative with rapid antibody tests.
The local government is awaiting a final report from the Department of Health (DOH) to determine the real status of these two OFWs.
As a precautionary measure, all 48 OFWs are undergoing a second round of PCR testing.
Generally, the returning OFWs are in good health and have not shown severe flu-like symptoms.
