346 possible Filipino trafficking victims repatriated from Myanmar scam hubs
The Philippine government has successfully repatriated 346 Filipinos who are potential victims of human trafficking from scam hubs in Myanmar.

The first group of 219 Filipinos had illegally entered Thailand after the raids, while the second group of 127 were sheltered by NGOs and handed over under the Thai-Myanmar Government-to-Government Repatriation Protocol.
Following coordination with Thai authorities and the Philippine Embassy, the 346 Filipinos were transported to Bangkok and flown home via a Philippine government-chartered flight.
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and other relevant agencies are providing ongoing assistance, including reintegration programs, financial aid, and legal procedures.
