3 Negros Occidental OFWs recover from COVID-19

Three of the seven overseas Filipino worker (OFW) cases in Negros Occidental have recovered from COVID-19.

The latest recovery is a 29-year-old woman from La Castellana, who previously traveled from Brazil.

She tested positive on May 6 and received negative results in her repeat tests on May 18 and May 23.

Previously, two other OFWs recovered: a 41-year-old man from Candoni who traveled from Cebu, and a 38-year-old man from Silay City who traveled from The Netherlands.

As of May 24, Negros Occidental recorded no COVID-19 fatalities.

The province has 11 suspected cases and 593 persons under monitoring.
