PDEA nabs 3 Chinese nationals with P3.4M shabu in Angeles City

Three Chinese nationals were apprehended in Angeles City by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a sting operation, resulting in the confiscation of approximately P3.4 million worth of shabu.

The successful buy-bust operation took place late Monday night in the Balibago village, specifically at the Shanghai Building along MacArthur Highway.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Bin Da, 23; Hei Xiao; and Gua Xiao, 20.

PDEA Region 3 reported that the suspects were highly cautious during the transaction, and it took the agency a month to set up the drug deal.

In addition to about half a kilogram of suspected shabu, authorities also seized seven mobile phones, car keys, and the marked money used in the operation.

The three Chinese men are set to face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
