2 dead, 704 injured in firecracker incidents nationwide

The Philippine National Police (PNP) also reported 822 injuries and seized over P4 million worth of unregulated firecrackers, arresting 83 individuals.

Separately, a 19-year-old student in Davao del Norte died from a stray bullet on New Year's Eve.
