Zus Coffee Thunderbelles win, end losing streak

Zus Coffee's Thunderbelles ended their three-game losing streak with a straight sets victory against Capital1, winning 31-29, 25-15, 25-15 on Saturday in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at PhilSports Arena.

The win improved Zus Coffee's record to 3-4 and marked their third triumph in the conference, showing significant improvement from previous tournaments where they struggled to secure wins.

Chinnie Arroyo led the Thunderbelles with 15 points, while Mich Gamit and Glaudine Troncoso each contributed 12 points.

Coach Jerry Yee highlighted that despite being a rookie team, Zus Coffee is now gaining respect from other teams in the league after acquiring top talent like Thea Gagate through the draft.

Yee emphasized the importance of facing strong opponents early in the conference to foster growth and maturity within the team.
