ZUS Coffee beats Creamline but loses to Cignal in PVL on Tour

ZUS Coffee secured its first franchise victory over Creamline in the PVL on Tour on Saturday night at City of Passi Arena in Iloilo, but fell to a hard-earned loss against Cignal the following day.

Chinnie Arroyo led ZUS Coffee with a career-high 23 points in their win over Creamline but managed only 20 points in Sunday's match against Cignal.

Erika Santos powered Cignal to victory with an explosive outing, scoring a career-high 30 points and eight digs as the HD Spikers improved to 4-1 and clinched a quarterfinals spot.

Creamline bounced back from their loss to ZUS Coffee by defeating Chery Tiggo in four sets, improving their record to 3-2 in Pool B.

Alyssa Valdez led Creamline with 19 points as the team snapped a rare two-game losing streak.
