Zambales active cases triple to 15 in 3 days

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Zambales province tripled from five to 15 between November 4 and November 6, according to the provincial health office.

During this period, 12 new cases were reported while only two recoveries were recorded.

Four towns that previously had zero active cases now have newly infected patients, though five other towns remain COVID-19-free.

Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, Zambales has logged a total of 12,510 cases, with 11,775 recoveries and 720 deaths.
