Yulo wins two bronze medals in vault and parallel bars

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo secured two more bronze medals in both the vault and parallel bars on Sunday at the 2025 Asian Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, adding to his earlier bronze in the individual all-around and gold in the floor exercise.

Yulo scored 14.333 points for the vault, placing behind Iran's Mahdi Olfati (gold) with 14.500 and China's Huang Mingqi (silver) with 14.400, while his parallel bars performance earned him a score of 14.166.

Despite securing four medals in total, Yulo finished seventh in both the vault and horizontal bar finals with scores of 12.000 and 13.233 respectively, missing out on replicating his three-gold haul from last year's edition.

Yulo's younger brother Karl Eldrew also won silver in the vault for the juniors division, marking a strong showing for the family at the championships.

Carlos Yulo will continue competing until June 9 alongside other Philippine gymnasts including Juancho Miguel Besana and John Ivan Cruz who finished sixth in the vault finals.
