Woman found living in Makati drainage sparks mole person speculation

Images of a woman emerging from a drainage hole in Makati City have circulated on social media, sparking speculations about the existence of 'mole people' living in drainages.

According to Mark Salazar's report on 24 Oras, CCTV footage captured three individuals entering the same drainage hole where the woman emerged earlier.

Makati City Police found several personal items inside the drainage and believe the woman may have been living there for an extended period and needs medical attention; however, no concrete evidence has been found to prove that anyone lives in these drainages.

Police Captain Jenibeth Artista revealed that the drainage hole leads to a creek in Pio del Pilar and is coordinating with barangay officials to undertake necessary steps such as rescue operations if needed.

A photographer named William reported seeing some men resting at the front of another culvert, suggesting that people may use drainages for temporary shelter or rest during extreme weather conditions.
