Woman arrested for bomb joke delays flight

A 59-year-old woman from Pangasinan was arrested at Davao International Airport on Sunday for making a bomb joke on board Cebu Pacific Flight 5J978.

The woman, identified as Annabelle Macose, told a flight attendant 'May bomba dun sa bag ko (There's a bomb in my bag)' during the boarding process.

Security personnel boarded the plane to arrest her and questioned her at the Sasa Police Station.

All passengers were deplaned while the aircraft was repositioned for security screening of all baggage.
