Whistleblower reveals alleged mass killings of sabungeros in Taal Lake

Whistleblower Julie Patidongan revealed new details about the alleged murders of missing sabungeros in Taal Lake on the first day of search and retrieval operations.

Patidongan claimed that the victims were abducted, killed at a slaughterhouse near a fishpond in Laurel, Batangas, and then dumped into the lake, with some bodies weighed down by sacks of sand.

He also alleged that police officers involved in the case have expressed willingness to cooperate once they are questioned formally.

Patidongan believes more than 100 victims may still be found in Taal Lake, while families of missing individuals continue to submit additional sworn statements for the investigation.

The whistleblower is preparing an official affidavit and meeting with relatives to gather evidence, as authorities work towards a significant breakthrough in the case.
