P10M shabu seized in Western Visayas drug raid

Western Visayas anti-drug operatives seized over P10.2 million worth of suspected shabu during a 24-hour operation that ended on December 10.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 19 suspects, including four high-value individuals and fifteen street-level dealers.

Negros Occidental Police Office confiscated PHP5.7 million worth of illegal drugs, while Iloilo City Police Office seized PHP2.4 million.

In a separate buy-bust operation on December 11 in Pavia, the police arrested Manong and alias Lyn, seizing around 300 grams of shabu valued at PHP2.04 million.

The confiscated drugs amounted to approximately 1,206 grams with an estimated market value of P8.2 million.

All suspects are currently under police custody facing charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
