Comelec: Voter registration resumes Feb. 3 in Taal-affected areas

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that voter registration will resume on February 3 in affected areas of Batangas and Cavite impacted by Taal Volcano's eruption.

Registration will start in towns such as Alitagtag, Balete, Balayan, Calaca, Cuenca, Lemery, San Nicolas, Sta. Teresita, Taal, Talisay, Lipa City, Tanauan City, and others in Batangas.

In Cavite, registration will resume in Alfonso, Amadeo, Indang, Silang, and Tagaytay City.

Voter registration in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas, will begin on February 10.
