DPWH: Vicky damages 6 roads, bridges in Eastern Visayas

Tropical Depression Vicky damaged six roads and bridges in Eastern Visayas over the weekend.

As of Wednesday, four of these are now passable to light vehicles after emergency repairs were made by the DPWH.

Marabong Bridge in Burauen and Layog Bridge in Mahaplag remain impassable due to significant damage.

Restoration work continues for Marabong Bridge because of extensive slope scouring from flooding, while Layog Bridge's broken steel bottom chord prevents vehicle passage.
