Sofronio Vasquez advances to 'The Voice US' Top 5

Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez advanced to the Top 5 of 'The Voice US' with his performance of Elvis Presley's "If I Can Dream," continuing to represent the Philippines in the competition.

Vasquez, a finalist from Michael Bublé's team, announced on social media that he has made it to the finale and requested continued prayers for his final performances.

In an interview with People Magazine, Vasquez shared that he held back tears during his last performance, expressing gratitude towards his supporters in both the Philippines and Upstate New York.

Vasquez previously impressed audiences with a rendition of Roy Orbison's "Crying," earning him a standing ovation from his coach, Michael Bublé.

The Top 5 finalists include Vasquez, Shye (team Bublé), Danny Joseph (team Reba McEntire), Jeremy Beloate (team Snoop Dogg), and Sydney Sterlace (team Gwen Stefani).

The finale of 'The Voice US' is scheduled for December 9 to 10.
