'The Voice' champ Vasquez performs at MIFF tribute for firefighters

Sofronio Vasquez, the grand champion of Season 26 of 'The Voice,' will perform at the closing night dinner tribute of the second Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) on March 7 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Vasquez's performance honors first responders who battled and contained the recent Southern California wildfires, marking his first appearance in America since winning 'The Voice' last December.

The MIFF, originally scheduled earlier but postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires, will run from March 4 to 7 with screenings at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Proceeds from the festival's events and screenings will be donated to support fire relief efforts in Los Angeles.

Vasquez's performance is expected to draw a star-studded audience and celebrate his journey as a Filipino artist who pursued his dream of singing on the world's stages.
