Brooke Van Sickle wins All-Filipino Conference MVP

Petro Gazz star Brooke Van Sickle won the 2024 All-Filipino Conference Most Valuable Player award on Sunday, May 12, after Petro Gazz finished third in the Premier Volleyball League.

Van Sickle, a Filipino-American from Hawaii who is set to represent the Philippines under the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), credited her teammates for her success and emphasized that volleyball is a team sport.

She led the league with 293 total points scored and ranked fourth in both spiking success rate (36.39 percent) and blocking average (0.56 per set).

Choco Mucho's Sisi Rondina and Creamline's Jema Galanza were named Best Outside Hitters, while Aiza Pontillas of Petro Gazz earned her first Best Opposite Hitter award since 2019.

Galanga also clinched the Finals MVP after helping Creamline secure their eighth championship title.
