UST mourns Pope Francis, honors legacy with tribute exhibit

The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas (UST) expressed deep sorrow over the death of Pope Francis on Monday, April 21.

UST highlighted Pope Francis's leadership characterized by love, humility, and grace, urging the Thomasian community to uphold his legacy of faith, hope, and love.

Pope Francis visited UST in 2015 where he addressed more than 24,000 youth representatives and received a special UST ID, symbolizing strong ties between the university and the Vatican.

Thomasians have been visiting a tribute exhibit featuring memorabilia from Pope Francis's visit since it opened to the public on Wednesday, April 23.

UST students shared their personal reflections and gratitude for Pope Francis's impact on their lives, emphasizing his genuine care and love for Catholics.
