Ateneo is second with seven match points while UP follows closely with five match points.

In the women's division, NU defeated UST 3-1 and maintains its position as second place with nine match points behind FEU's 12 match points.

FEU dominated UP in round 6 of the UAAP Season 86 Women’s Chess Championships, winning 3-1 to maintain an undefeated record and a significant lead with 12 match points.

Mhage Sebastian from FEU secured her fifth straight win against Geraldine Guyo on Board 3 while Bea Mendoza won her first victory over Katherine Bunao on Board 4.
