UST, Adamson advance in Shakey's Super League

UST and Adamson advanced to the next round of the Shakey's Super League Collegiate Pre-Season Championship Season 2 on Monday.

UST defeated College of Saint Benilde, 25-13, 22-25, 25-12, 25-22, while Adamson triumphed over Lyceum, 25-16, 25-16, 25-13.

UST's Jonna Perdido led with 20 points, followed by Regina Jurado and Angeline Poyos with 19 and 17 points respectively.

Adamson's Lucille Almonte, Red Bascon, and transferee Barbie Jamili each scored seven points to secure their victory.
