UPHSD wins first NCAA title after 41 years

University of Perpetual Help defeated La Salle Greenhills, 101-67, to win the NCAA Season 100 high school basketball championship on Tuesday at Filoil EcoOil Arena.

The victory marks UPHSD's first championship title in their 41-year history in the league, completing a historic achievement for the team.

Coach Joph Cleopas expressed his gratitude and described the game as an 'exclamation point' after the decisive win that secured the series at 2-1.

Lebron Jhames Daep led the Junior Altas with a double-double of 10 points, 12 rebounds, along with two assists, steals, and blocks, earning him Finals MVP honors.

Several players contributed to the victory, including Jan Roluna, Icee Callagan, Jim Corpuz, and Jan Rosales, each scoring in double digits.
