UP Maroons edge La Salle, National University wins

The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons maintained their unbeaten record in UAAP Season 86 women's basketball by defeating De La Salle Lady Archers 65-61 on Wednesday.

National University also secured a win against the winless University of the East with a score of 72-50, improving to an undefeated 6-0 record.

UP coach Paul Ramos expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance and emphasized their continuous improvement.

Louna Ozar led UP's effort with crucial points and forced turnovers in the final period, while Kaye Pesquera sealed the victory with a late three-pointer.
