DILG confirms bodies found in Rizal are Que and driver

Two unidentified bodies found on a roadside in Rodriguez, Rizal have been confirmed to belong to businessman Anson Que and his driver by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday.

The bodies were discovered by a concerned citizen in Sitio Udiongan, Barangay Macabud around 6 a.m. on Wednesday and placed in a nylon bag with their faces wrapped in duct tape.

According to PRO 4A public information office chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Chitadel Gaoiran, the victims were only wearing underwear and had blood-covered heads.

Barangay head Juanito Catayoc stated that the victims were not from the area.

Investigators are now conducting an in-depth follow-up investigation for the identification of the victims and the capture of the perpetrators.
