Two missing as Dante floods South Cotabato

Two people are missing after Tropical Depression Dante caused floods in South Cotabato over the weekend.

The missing individuals, a father and son who stayed in their field to watch over ducks, were cut off when nearby rivers overflowed.

Despite initial contact from the son to his mother for help, both men could not be reached afterwards.

Authorities have been searching other barangays but have yet to locate them.

Flooding also affected several hectares of rice fields and fishponds in Norala and Banga.
