Two bettors from Quezon and Davao de Oro win PHP6.1M in Lotto 6/42

Two bettors from Quezon province and Davao de Oro will split a PHP6.1 million jackpot from Saturday night's Lotto 6/42 draw.

The winners, who correctly guessed the winning combination of 11-10-05-42-24-39, have one year to claim their prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City.

Under Philippine law, lotto winnings over PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax.

In addition to the jackpot winners, 42 players won PHP24,000 each for matching five numbers, while thousands more received smaller prizes.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support gaming products to help fund health initiatives and other national charities.
