Phoenix defeated Rain or Shine 93-91 in a crucial PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup game on Saturday with Ken Tuffin sealing the victory with a last-second putback.

Rain or Shine, who had been on a five-game winning streak, saw their streak end as they fell to 5-2 after Phoenix improved their record to 3-5 with back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Tyler Tio starred with 15 points and key assists while Donovan Smith contributed a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, leading Phoenix's efforts in the fourth quarter.
