Tropical Storm Isang affects at least 3,627 families in Cagayan Valley and Bicol

At least 3,627 families were affected by Tropical Storm Isang, which left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday morning.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reported that this weather disturbance impacted 10 barangays in Cagayan Valley and the Bicol Region.

Of those affected, 656 families or 1,566 individuals are currently staying in four evacuation centers, while 17 other families are with relatives or friends.

The DSWD has provided over P1.6 million worth of aid to help the affected communities recover from the storm's impact.
