Tour bus crash in Buffalo kills 5, injures many Filipinos

A tour bus carrying more than 50 passengers, including several Filipino tourists, crashed in Buffalo, New York on Friday afternoon, resulting in at least five deaths and numerous injuries.

The crash occurred while the bus was traveling back to New York City from Niagara Falls and involved the driver losing control of the vehicle, causing it to roll off Interstate 90.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed that some of the casualties are Filipino nationals, though specific numbers were not provided as the Philippine Consulate General in New York continues to monitor the situation.

Critically injured passengers were airlifted to various hospitals for treatment, while those less severely hurt received medical care on-site.
