Torres optimistic for Philippines' performance at ASEAN Para Games

Philippine Sports Commission's Walter Torres expressed optimism for Team Philippines' performance at the 12th ASEAN Para Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from June 3-9.

Torres, who will submit the delegation list during the Delegation Registration Meeting on May 28, aims to surpass the team's previous showing with 28 gold, 30 silver, and 46 bronze medals at the 11th ASEAN Para Games in Indonesia.

The Philippine delegation includes 259 members, comprising 174 athletes competing in 13 sports including athletics, badminton, boccia, chess, cerebral palsy football, goalball, judo, powerlifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, table tennis, wheelchair basketball, and esports.
