Tin Tiamzon returns to PVL with Cignal after hiatus

After nearly two years away, Premier Volleyball League (PVL) star Tin Tiamzon is set to return to play for Cignal, joining the team on Thursday.

Tiamzon last played with the now-defunct F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in 2022 before taking a hiatus in 2023 to spend time with her family in Canada.

The veteran player sees joining the rebuilding Cignal as an opportunity to restart her career, given that the team is also looking to rebuild and finished ninth place in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Tiamzon expressed excitement about returning to volleyball and believes she still has potential to reach her full potential on the court.

Coach Shaq delos Santos hopes Tiamzon's experience from her UAAP days at De La Salle University can help guide younger players in Cignal, as she reunites with fellow Lady Spiker Dawn Macandili-Catindig.
