The Voice champ Vasquez offered Miss Saigon role

Sofronio Vasquez, The Voice USA Season 26 champion, revealed that he was offered a role in the stage musical Miss Saigon at London's West End and will perform concerts across North America, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines.

Vasquez signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN's Star Magic on February 25 and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore his musical talents while noting that he did not go through the typical audition process for this role.

The Filipino singer is currently weighing the offer due to a packed schedule, emphasizing that he remains open to opportunities in musicals.

Vasquez shared pre-performance routines and sought advice from fellow performer Mark Bautista, highlighting his commitment to vocalizing and staying hydrated before performances.

Miss Saigon has a history of providing opportunities for Filipinos, including Lea Salonga who won a Tony Award for her role in the show since its debut in 1994.
