Thailand wins JGFP 13-18 bracket, beats Malaysia by 3 points

Thailand's golf team won the 13-18 age bracket championship at the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP) International Inter-Club tournament held recently in Pampanga.

Despite scoring 491 points, Thailand secured its victory by just three points over Malaysia, which had a total score of 488 points.

Thailand's Lapassapon Liberto Heras-Gomez led the team with a final-round score of 55 points, while teammates Sarunyapong Hongamata and Pranai Reankrai each added 51 points.

Brittannika Golf Club from South Cotabato surprised everyone by winning the 12-and-under Championship Division with a total score of 300 points, beating Camp Aguinaldo 2 by five points.

Jared Saban and his cousins Laurence Saban and Brittanny Tamayo contributed to their team's victory with scores of 55, 48, and 47 points respectively on the final day.
