Telcos restore services, PLDT defers bills for Karding-hit areas

Telecommunications companies are working to restore services in areas affected by Super Typhoon Karding.

Globe Telecom has fully restored services in seven provinces, including Bulacan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, Rizal, and Quezon, with restoration nearing completion in Nueva Ecija.

PLDT group plans to defer bills for areas severely impacted by the typhoon while services are being restored, providing emergency load assistance and free calls, charging stations, and WiFi in affected communities.
