Team Rizal wins 11th straight RAAM title with 284 medals

Team Rizal, representing student athletes from Rizal Province, secured an unprecedented 11th consecutive victory at the Regional Athletics Association Meet (RAAM) 2025 with a total of 284 medals.

As of March 6, Team Rizal had accumulated 128 gold, 86 silver, and 70 bronze medals in the competition.

The RAAM 2025 is a sports event for student athletes from 23 schools divisions in Calabarzon, taking place across various locations in Rizal Province until March 8.

Quezon Province secured second place with 42 gold, 31 silver and 42 bronze medals, followed by Batangas Province which collected 38 gold, 52 silver and 55 bronze medals.

Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares congratulated the team during the closing ceremony held at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City on March 8.

Team Rizal will represent Calabarzon at the 2025 Palarong Pambansa in Laoag, Ilocos Norte from May 20 to July 2.
