Ogie Alcasid's team wins Magpasikat with P300K prize

Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, MC Calaquian, and Lassy Marquez won the 'Magpasikat' competition on 'It's Showtime,' receiving a grand prize of P300,000.

The judges praised all contestants for their exceptional performances but ultimately chose Ogie's team as this year's winner.

Cory Vidanes, Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast at ABS-CBN Corporation, awarded the winning team and commended them for their emotional victory on Saturday, October 26.

Ogie expressed gratitude to his crew and teammates while Kim shared her happiness on Instagram about being part of such a talented group. The winning team announced they will donate their prize money to the Angat Buhay Foundation for relief operations related to Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

Team Jhong (Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez) bagged second place, while Team Anne (Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz) brought home the third spot.

Promoting the message 'Tigil, Hinga, Kalma,' Ogie's team performed an original composition on piano, trapeze routine by Kim, and interpretative performance by MC and Lassy.
