TBA Studios starts 'Quezon', historical biopic on Manuel L. Quezon in March 2025

TBA Studios has announced that production on their historical biopic 'Quezon,' set to begin in March 2025, will focus on the life of Manuel L. Quezon, the second president of the Philippine Commonwealth.

Directed by Jerrold Tarog, 'Quezon' is part of TBA's 'Bayaniverse' series and aims to be a stand-alone story while being connected to previous films like 'Heneral Luna' and 'Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral'.

'Quezon' will mark the studio's first major production since the pandemic, with international releases planned.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) have provided support and funding for the film.

TBA Studios is known for distributing acclaimed international films such as 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' and 'Past Lives,' and aims to build on its success with this new production.
