Taeyang surprises Manila fans with 'Palagi'

K-pop artist Taeyang concluded his 'The Light Year' concert tour in Manila by performing TJ Monterde's OPM hit 'Palagi,' surprising fans and earning an encore.

Fans cheered for a second performance, which Taeyang gladly provided, impressing both the audience and the song's creator.

Monterde expressed gratitude to Taeyang on Instagram for singing 'Palagi' during his Manila show, and thanked him for the special performance of his song.

Taeyang also performed his hit songs from Big Bang during the show and shared snaps from his Manila concert on Instagram with the caption: 'Thank u Manila. Love u palagi'.

The cover of 'Palagi,' a 2023 release that won Top Local Song of the Year at the IFPI Philippines launch, gained extra popularity when it was used as the theme song for 'Hello, Love, Again.'
