SWS: 51% expect COVID-19 crisis to end in 2022

According to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted in December 2021 and released on February 11, 51% of Filipinos expect the COVID-19 crisis to end within 2022.

Of those surveyed, 29% believe it will end by June while 22% think it will conclude by December.

Regionally, optimism is highest in Mindanao (62%) and lowest in the Visayas (41%).

Additionally, 51% of Filipinos support a vaccine mandate for all, bi-weekly RT-PCR testing for unvaccinated employees, while 35% disagree with both measures.
