SUV driver crashes at school, injures 7; tanker crash blocks Mabini Bridge

Six students and a staff member were injured when a 70-year-old driver accidentally crashed his SUV into the lobby of a private school in Caloocan on Thursday.

The incident occurred at dismissal time, with the elderly man attempting to pick up his granddaughter from the campus.

A 13-year-old female student sustained serious injuries but is now in stable condition at the hospital.

The driver expressed willingness to cover all medical expenses for the victims and was placed under police custody.

In Manila, a 10-wheeler coconut oil tanker crashed into an SUV and a motorcycle along Mabini Bridge, causing damage to the vehicles and disrupting traffic.

The accident resulted in the destruction of the truck's windshield and hood, as well as detaching the rear wheel of the motorcycle.
