UAAP, NCAA cancel sports events due to Tropical Storm Kristine

Due to Tropical Storm Kristine, the UAAP and NCAA have canceled or postponed sports activities scheduled for Wednesday through Friday in Metro Manila.

The storm is expected to impact Central and Northern Luzon within the next 48 hours, prompting local government units to suspend classes across Metro Manila on Wednesday.

Specifically affected are four UAAP basketball games at Mall of Asia Arena and two football matches at UP Diliman Football Stadium, as well as NCAA basketball games scheduled for Friday between the Arellano Chiefs and Mapua Cardinals, and San Sebastian Stags and San Beda Red Lions.

All postponed games will be rescheduled to later dates, most likely in mid-November, after the leagues' respective second rounds.
