Stanley Pringle signs with Rain or Shine

Veteran guard Stanley Pringle signed a two-year deal with Rain or Shine on Tuesday, July 15, ending his stint with Terrafirma Dyip and joining the Elasto Painters' young core of rising stars.

Pringle's move comes as Terrafirma Dyip's franchise sale remains uncertain ahead of the PBA's 50th season, leading to Pringle becoming a free agent after his contract expired following their forgettable Philippine Cup run.

At 38 years old, Pringle averaged 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game for Terrafirma in the recent Philippine Cup.

Rain or Shine recently released veteran forward Mark Borboran and rookie Francis Escandor to create roster spots, with Pringle expected to bring a veteran presence to their locker room as they chase greater heights in Season 50 following their semifinals appearance where they fell to TNT.

With his championship experience, Pringle will be a valuable addition to the team as Rain or Shine aims for success in the upcoming season.
