DOH: PHP311M for SRA of 20K health workers

The Department of Health (DOH) announced Thursday that PHP311 million has been released by the Department of Budget and Management for a special risk allowance (SRA) to benefit an additional 20,208 health workers.

This fund will be distributed to Centers for Health Development (CHD), which will then release it to local government units and private health facilities in the coming days.

DOH Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega assured that more healthcare workers are expected to receive SRA as coordination continues with LGUs and private hospitals.
