Squid Game stars play tumbang preso in Philippines

Stars of 'Squid Game,' including Lee Jung Jae and Jo Yu Ri, played tumbang preso, a classic Filipino street game.

In a video posted by Netflix Philippines on YouTube, the actors learned about the rules but struggled to hit the can with their slipper; however, Yu Ri eventually succeeded in winning the game.

During the video, Lee Jung Jae commented on how the slipper's structure made it difficult to play tumbang preso effectively.

Other cast members, including Wi Ha Jun and Yim Si Wan, also tried out various games from around the world such as Indonesia's Gasing, Japan's Menko, Sweden's Kubb, Thailand's Mak kep, Brazil's Peteca, Vietnam's Choi Chuyen, Poland's Quoits, India's Kanche, Malaysia and Singapore's Goli Panjang and Batu Seremban, Southeast Asian Sepak Takraw, and Musical Chairs.

The second season of 'Squid Game' premiered on Netflix in December, introducing new players and games while revisiting familiar characters like Seong Gi Hun (Player 456).

'Squid Game' is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Drama, and has unveiled the first poster for its third and final season set to premiere this year.
